Wednesday, November 19: Waste
Did you know? According to a 2023 study, 85% of waste generated in our schools can be composted or recycled!

Here are two ways we can reduce waste in our schools:

Prevent waste in the first place! Only use what you need and find ways to reuse materials.
Properly sort items for recycling and composting. Our schools now have Curbside Composting service!
By sending less material to landfills, we can effectively reduce pollution.

Individual Student Picture Day on Thursday, November 13, 2025. If you would like your child to participate, please be sure to send in the form with the exact amount.

NYC Public Schools are closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Schools reopen Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Thursday, November 6, 2025, all students will have an early dismissal at 11:30am for Virtual Parent Teacher Conference

NYC Public Schools are Closed to student on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, for Election Day.

We will be celebrating our Annual Story Character Day on Friday, October 31, 2025. Students come to school dressed as their favorite story character. Parents & Guardians are invited to our Family Fulfilling Friday at 1pm and Story Character Day Parade at 1:30pm.

Please join us for our Stress, Health and Wellness Parent Workshop. Parents/Guardians will get to do a wellness related activity with their child after the presentation is over!

P.S. 52 will be hosting a parent workshop on Thursday, October 30th @ 10:00am in the cafeteria on Stress, Health, & Wellness. Details to follow.
