5th Grade Popcorn Fundraiser - Limited Time

Our 5th Grade is having a Double Goo Popcorn Fundraiser April 25th 5:00PM - April 29th 5:00PM online.  Please use one of the links below to purchase popcorn.  All proceeds benefit the students. Thank you for you support!

Community School Forum May 1st 3pm - 5:30pm

You are invited to our Paint & Sip School Forum on Thursday, May 1st, from 3:00pm -5:30pm.  Please join us for an afternoon of art, community, and celebration.  There will be food, bounce houses, raffles, and more.  Please register online in advance using the registration link.

Summer Rising Offers are Now Available

Summer Rising Offers are now available in MySchools.  Families must log in and accept their offer by May 8 in order to enroll. They will also be able to add or remove their child from waitlists and see their waitlist positions in MySchools.  We have sent home copies of the letters notifying you of the placement, but you must still log into MySchools. to accept.  If you need assistance, please contact the school.

NYC School Survey Online Only Deadline Extended - May 2nd

The deadline to complete the NYC School Survey ONLINE ONLY has been extended to May 2nd.  Please visit NYCSchoolSurvey.org  to complete your survey online.  

Instructions for Families:

  1. If your student is in a NYCPS or Charter school, you will need your child’s nine-digit student identification number, or OSIS, to begin filling out your survey online.
  2. You can find the OSIS on your student’s report card or school ID card or on the paper version of the survey. Contact your child's school if you have trouble finding your student's OSIS. 
  3. Once on the survey page, you must enter “f” and then your student's OSIS to access the survey. The “f” must be lowercase.

D29 Parent Empowerment Conference - May 31st

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, 9:30AM. Community School District 29 will host our First Annual Parent Empowerment Conference 2k25 at the Tri-Community Campus (145-00 Springfield Blvd, Queens, NY 11413). This conference is designed to empower parents and strengthen families through a variety of informative sessions and hands-on classes.
The conference will cover several impactful topics, including:
  • Impactful Parenting: Strategies for meaningful engagement.
  • IEP Support: Navigating Individualized Education Plans.
  • Vaping Awareness: Understanding the risks and prevention.
  • College Readiness: Preparing for higher education.
  • Literacy and Math: Boosting skills at every grade level.
  • Speech and Language Development
  • Nutrition - How to address picky eaters
  • Socialization and Separation Anxiety
  • Special Education / Early Intervention
  • Self Care for Parents
