Ice Cream Fundraiser - May 8th
Our 2nd graders are so excited about their community project they have been working on!!! As part of our social studies curriculum, students were asked to identify some problems in the community and how they could fix it! They decided that there was no library close by for children to get books when school is closed. Their solution was to build a little lending library! In order to get this project moving they came up with the fundraising idea of having a Make your Own Sundae ice cream sale during lunch periods. Next week we will be making this happen! Below is the flyer! We hope to be able to raise the money to fund this project so the kids can see their ideas come to life!
For more information and to donate to our lending library, please see the Donor's Choose
